Looking for a Quickie.....

Card, that is....
Let's face it.... Many times you do not want to spend THAT much time making a card. Furthermore, there are too many times that we just do not feel like plopping $5 bucks on the counter to buy something you are obligated to send! Not to say your boss isn't worth 5 bucks....

"Check" this one out....

Another great little project, that anyone would love to receive! Ok, now that I think of it, I do not have one of these either! I wonder just exactly what a girl needs to do to get a cute gift from her friends! Evidently, I need to get much better at dropping hints around here.
Materials include various cardstock and printed paper scraps along with some beautiful, fun Karen Foster stickers. Although tying ribbon scraps is a royal pain for our stubby fingers, they really bring it all together!

Old Fashioned Goodness

Don't you just love to recieve homemade gifts?!?! That's the first thing I thought of when saw this..... Geez, why doesn't she ever make ME things like this?!?! (I also mulled over the fact that I have yet to get a baby announcement, 5 months after everyone else!)

Supplies:
Two 6x6 pieces of chipboard
Printed paper
Cardstock
Eyelets
Binding supplies, or a hole punch and rings
Ribbon
Printer and printer paper

Cricut Cartridges Used:
My Community
Hello Kitty Font
Fabulous Finds

Instructions
  1. Cover the chipboard in printed paper.
  2. Cut out the house on My Community at 3".
  3. Cut out the word "FRIENDS" in Hello Kitty Font at 3/4"
  4. Ink the edges and apply glitter glue to dress the cover up a little. Set aside.
  5. In a word processing program, set up address fields. Print an appropriate number of pages, and then cut them down to 5.5" x 5.5".
  6. With the Fabulous Finds cartridge, cut out 26 address tabs at 1/2". Cut out 26 matching inserts in a contrasting color.
  7. Put the inserts to the tabs and stamp small alphabet letters in each one.
  8. Using an eyelet setter and adhesive (for extra stickiness), attach a letter tab every few pages of the printer paper. You might want to add a little cardstock on the back of the printer paper for extra support. Be sure to stagger the letters for easy viewing.
  9. Bind the book together with a binding machine, or puch holes in the covers and pages and insert rings.
  10. Add ribbon to the binder or rings.

We're too sexy

As we start to figure out the whole "business of blogging", it seemed important to figure out just exactly how to post a picture. Being the fair and impartial person that I am, I am opting to humiliate us all.
